Baby Alexander

What a crazy shoot!  So my sweet niece called me and asked me if I would do some newborn photos of her baby when I was in Provo.  The timing was perfect. He was going to be 7 days old when I was there.  What wasn't perfect was that with a closed freeway exit I was quite late - we had a very limited shoot time.  I was in an unfamiliar house with unfamiliar lighting.  My camera was in the shop so I borrowed my nieces.  This sweet newborn didn't want to sleep...actually I think he did want to sleep...just not naked in a basket...he wanted to be snuggled tight in a blanket.  Even still, I feel grateful I got to take these shots.  You just can't get a newborn back.

This first photo is my favorite.  I love the sweet expressions on each of their faces.  The rocking chair they are sitting in was also make by Alexander's namesake.
